A woman, who struggles to distance herself from an emotionally abusive relationship, uncovers a primal understanding with her dalmatian dog.

Produced by German actress and filmmaker Annabell Osoiro and directed by her Brazilian husband Felipe. This short film was shot on iPhone 6 in beautiful West Hollywood for zero budget.

SYNOPSIS:
Leila gets off work but it's not a good day. After a barrage of seemingly unlucky events, Leila is pushed to her limits when she arrives home and her oppressive boyfriend, Ryan, presses her to explain why she has been so late. Not trusting Leila, he demands that she submits to his ways. All the while, the naively optimistic dalmatian dog, Star, struggles to garner attention, love, and understanding.

From conception to execution, one of the goals of the project was to execute a short film that would not be perceived as having been shot on a cell phone. The dynamic husband-wife duo took on multiple roles including producing, acting, shooting, and directing all the while utilizing their own dalmatian as a much necessary actor, and story element in the short film. Actress, Hayley Pendergrass, plays the voice of dalmatian Star. Veteran film producer, Keith Cooper, was key in providing guidance as well as consolation in story development and post-production edits.
